First Look: Hunk of the Titans

Sam Worthington, Clash of the Titans Warner Bros. Pictures

Sam Worthington just got done dispatching killer robots in Terminator Salvation. Now he gets to dispatch killer monsters in the upcoming Clash of the Titans.

Production is underway on the big-budget remake of the 1981 stop-motion cult film loosely based on the Greek myth of Perseus, and here is the first glimpse of Aussie star Worthington taking over the toga from Harry Hamlin.

Liam Neeson costars as Zeus, locked in a bitter battle with his brother  Hades (Ralph Fiennes) for humanity. Our boy Perseus is caught in the middle, forced to save his beloved Princess Andromeda (Defiance's Alexa Davalos) from the nefarious Acrisius (Jason Flemyng) while battling beasties like the serpent-headed Medusa.

A couple of James Bond vets, Gemma Arterton (Quantum of Solace) and Mads Mikkelson (the baddie from Casino Royale), lend support to the good fight.

Clash of the Titans hits the big screen March 26, 2010.

After the jump, check out another new photo from Titans along with one from the original movie.
