Jeremy Piven Wants Kobe Bryant in His Entourage
Jeremy Piven's not a tall guy to begin with, but he felt especially diminutive last night at the Lakers Championship Celebration at Club Nokia when posing with basketballers Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol.
"The reality is, me standing next to Pau Gasol...I am of medium height," the 5-foot-9-inch actor confessed. "I will look like I should live in a tree and just store nuts in my cheeks because he's a real seven-footer."
Jeremy also said Kobe was supposed to shoot a cameo on Entourage, but was replaced by 50 Cent due to last-minute scheduling issues.
"We'll create a new one for him," he quickly added since Kobe was in earshot.
What about Zac Efron's guest spot on the show?
Piven's 4-year-old niece, Pearl (remember her as Will Ferrell's toddler landlord?), actually requested to go to set with her uncle that day to meet the High School Musical hottie.
As for how Jeremy's recovering from mercury poisoning, he says he's sworn off sushi indefinitely.
"I haven't had a piece of fish in almost 10 months!" he proudly proclaimed.
Good thing, since there's that pesky little grievance from the producers of the play he dropped out of still pending.
We're guessing he skipped the tuna tartare inside the bash, where Kanye West and Lil Wayne performed for the packed party.
