First Karate Kid Ralph Macchio offers Will Smith's son, Jaden Smith, his best as he prepares to start shooting the remake, and then he takes it a step further by making a My Cousin Vinny joke. "Just wrote young J Smith a good luck note as they head off 2 shoot. Felt very Obi-Wan to Skywalker. I'm no longer 1 of the '2 youts' haha."

• People have been asking Ashton Kutcher to sound off on the elections in Iran and, to be honest, we're kind of glad he's only vaguely going there. "I think that truely the only people that can change things in Iran are the Iranians themselves and they seem to be speaking their minds now."

• My Life in Ruins star Nia Vardalos is taking a break from tweeting about Spanx to share a positive moment. "I just got offered a role I didn't write. The script is wonderful, I don't want to add a thing. I can't comprehend this feeling." :-)
