Behind the Scenes of Paris' New Show

In Touch Weekly threw a party at Social last night, but it might as well have been a personal bash for Paris Hilton. While boyfriend Benji Madden deejayed, the celebutante was filming scenes for her new MTV reality series.

Unlike the music network's other hit reality show, The Hills, this new production doesn't seem to have multiple takes. Paris and Benji were followed by cameras as they entered hand-in-hand, and that's it. No retakes or director's notes.

Inside, Paris chatted up her potential friends, which have already been narrowed down to 15 contestants, while Benji spun. There are only two boys in the current group of prospects, and lots of pretty girls.

While the soiree was in full swing downstairs, the cast and crew were herded upstairs to take group pictures.

Of course the evening wasn't without a few fake moments...

When cameras were rolling, P was all smiles, talking in her typical baby voice. But when she wasn't being filmed, her speech was completely different.

But to her credit, there didn't seem to be a ton of hair and makeup people. During downtime, Paris even did her own touch-ups, fussing in front of the mirror until she was satisfied.

However, just how much bonding Hilton actually wants to do with her buddies remains to be seen. All the contestants are being put up in a huge mansion in the Hollywood Hills. Although the show claims Paris will be living with them too, a source says she hasn't slept in her room there so far.
