Is Exile Too Good for Speidi?

As Spencer and Heidi Pratt's jungle saga sagged on, ratings slipped again for I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, per preliminary Nielsen estimates.

The marathon reality show got hammered in the 8 p.m. hour by the Speidi-free competition series Wipeout (8.4 million viewers) and So You Think You Can Dance (8.2 million from 8-9 p.m., night-best 8.8 million overall).

After averaging about 6.4 million on Monday night, when the Pratts first quit the show, I'm a Celebrity… was down to 4.8 million last night, when they unquit the show (again).

Emailing E! News' Ryan Seacrest today, NBC exec Paul Telegdy said the "insincere, lazy, entitled" Pratts, as the network suit described the couple, had been sent to "isolation" in the show's Costa Rican jungle. Lest viewers get their hopes up, isolation is not the same as off-camera. On the contrary, Telegdy wrote, "These people really are going to bare their souls."
