Paris Hilton Wants a Piece of the Middle East

This is starting to seem pathetic.
Having apparently exhausted opportunities for friendship in the U.S. and Britain, Paris Hilton is already making plans to find a stranger willing to become her best friend forever—or at least until the cameras stop rolling.
The current installment of the show—in which she tells E! Online's Watch With Kristin that she will be a stricter judge of friend material—premieres today on MTV.
If that doesn't pan out, Variety reports the next iteration of Paris Hilton's My New BFF will land the Hollywood celebutante in the United Arab Emirate of Dubai. Hilton and BFN (Boyfriend for Now) Doug Reinhardt will spend 17 days getting to know the culture, the mores and the lucky ladies vying to befriend Paris before she heads back to Los Angeles to make the final choice.
Unlike previous installments, this round will not feature alcohol, bad language or skanky outfits. So it could just be watchable.
• Brian Austin Green continues his inexplicable hot streak of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and proximity to Megan Fox by negotiating to join the now Chad Michael Murray–less cast of One Tree Hill, a network rep confirms to E! News.
• Noted thespian 50 Cent, who's soon to be working with Oscar winner Forest Whitaker on Abel Ferrara's Jekyll and Hyde, teams up with Chris Klein for the cops-and-gangstas drama Caught in the Crossfire, reports Variety.
• Dr. Drew Pinsky, fresh off spoofing himself at the MTV Movie Awards, nabs the recently busted Tom Sizemore as a "get" for the third season of Celebrity Rehab, his rep confirmed to E! News. This is shaping up to be the greatest season ever, with an ensemble of screwups that also includes Dennis Rodman, Mindy McCready, Heidi Fleiss and Mackenzie Phillips.
