Finally an explanation for Jessica Simpson on the cover of Vanity Fair. The mag's PR director says, "She's at a crossroads in her career" and "says a lot about the nature of celebrity in America." • Spencer Pratt owns up to his and his wife's (ugh, it's weird calling Heidi that) fame-whoring ways: "Heidi and I do we love fame. We’re honored to be famous. We feel blessed to be famous. We pray every day to stay famous. It’s the most fun. That’s our mentality with fame."
