Forget Star Trekking, Eric Bana Prefers Earth-Bound Transport

Eric Bana took a break from promoting the U.S.S. Enterprise to tout a mode of transportation considerably smaller—his car.

More specifically, the hunk former Hulk, was in New York City for the Tribeca Film Festival and U.S. premiere of his documentary, Love the Beast. For his directorial debut, the actor introduces fans to his racing career and decades-long, emotional bond with his 1974 Ford XB Falcon Coupe.

"It's kind of like you have this relationship under the spotlight and you just want to cuddle up, go out, and have a cup of coffee and a drink with it by yourselves," he said Tuesday during a Meet the Filmmaker session at the Apple Store in Soho.

"That's sort of how I feel about the car. I want to go and get involved with it again when no one's watching.

"That sounds weird, huh?"
