Creed Reforms, World Shrugs

Time will tell if fans' arms are still wide open for Creed's return.
Five years after their bitter split, Scott Stapp and those three other guys are reuniting to launch a nationwide tour and release their first new album in eight years this summer.
"It's amazing how life can change and bring you full circle," the frontman said. "It's rare in life to get a second chance to make a first impression and we embrace the opportunity."
Stapp was the one who initiated the reformation, gathering the boys—Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips and Brian Marshall—together last December. He claims that there is no lingering acrimony among them, saying the trick is, "not looking back at the six months out of 10 years that were trying."
There's no word yet on an album title, though Stapp told Rolling Stone this week that the group is close to making the single "Full Circle" their title track—hence his cutesy incorporation of those words in his announcement. The disc will likely come sometime after the kickoff of their national tour.
The tour starts Aug. 6 in Pittsburgh and wraps up Oct. 14 in Nashville.
