The Jonas Brothers and Fox are hoping the awards-hosting experience proves more successful than that concert experience.

Nick, Joe and Kevin will emcee Fox's Teen Choice 2009 Awards, paying tribute to everything cool in film, TV, music, sports and fashion that brand-obsessed entertainment marketers teens dig.

The purity-ring-wearing boy band will oversee the doling out of the ceremony's surfboard-shaped trophies in such categories as Choice Male Hottie, Choice Hookup, Choice Female Athlete, Choice Breakout Artist, Choice Breakout TV Show and Choice Reality/Variety Show. The JoBros will also perform.

The ceremony is slated for Aug. 10, and nominations will be announced soon.

Aside from their new Disney Channel series, JONAS, debuting May 2, the tween phenoms are about to embark on a world tour. The U.S. leg kicks off June 20, five days after they drop their fourth studio album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times.
