Federal Charges Don't Die Hard for Star Director

Bruce Willis, Die Hard 20th Century Fox

For Die Hard director John McTiernan, the feds are back...with a vengeance.

After being given a second chance back in October when his four-month prison sentence was vacated, McTiernan was indicted Friday on two counts of making false statements to federal agents and one count of perjury.

McTiernan alegedly lied to a federal judge and several FBI agents about his connection to the Anthony Pellicano wiretapping and racketeering case. Pellicano, the so-called private eye to the stars, is serving a 15-year sentence after being convicted on 78 felony counts.

A conference is scheduled for Monday to discuss the status of the case.
