The chiller, more level-headed Kanye West doesn't have to face the music just yet.
The rapper's arraignment on vandalism, battery and grand theft charges, originally scheduled for tomorrow, has been postponed until May 20.
West's attorneys were in a Los Angeles courtroom earlier today to request the delay.
Back in his hothead days, West and his business manager, Don Crawley, were arrested at LAX for allegedly smashing a camera that belonged to one of the shutterbugs who were trailing the gentlemen to their terminal. The duo were trying to board a flight to Honolulu.
In requesting the postponement, West's attorney, Blair Berk, told a judge Monday that today was the first time she had been privy to the police's incident report and that she was still waiting for the prosecution to turn over all its evidence.
