The on-again, off-again former MTV reality-show couple divorced in 2004 but were spotted getting reacquainted just after the 33-year-old Blink-182 drummer's tragic plane crash in September. Now they've called it quits yet again, Us magazine confirms.
The magazine alleges the split followed a nasty argument regarding the October sighting of Moakler cozying up to 300 hottie Gerard Butler while Barker was still in the hospital.
"They did break up, but Shanna never cheated on Travis while he was in the hospital," the former Playboy centerfold's rep tells the publication.
Despite her rep's claim that she's "tired of playing out their personal relationship in the press," Moakler lashed out on the situation on her MySpace blog.
" 'No comment' just wasn't sufficient this time when people continue to lie and distort the truth," she writes. "Travis and I were very much together in September when the horrific crashed happened, not only did I fly to Georgia I stayed by his side the entire stay and also for the bus ride home to LA...After arriving in LA and getting settled in the new hospital, I came across numerous romantic emails with MANY other women, some famous, some I personally knew, all heart breaking."
She continues to explain what happened next, which may or may not include the rumored dalliance with Butler.
"At that point with the new information revealed to me I considered myself SINGLE," she says. "Any actions I may or may have not done after this time, mean nothing."
"After surviving the plane crash, his driving force in life is the love he has for his kids," Barker's rep told Us magazine. "He is tired of all the other drama and is ready to move on."
Less than two months ago, the combustible couple, who have two children together, were raving about their happiness. Moakler was spotted wearing her wedding ring once again, and the two publicly celebrated her 34th birthday together just last weekend.
