Jamie Kennedy always said he had stones. He just failed to mention that they were of the kidney variety.

The lucky in Love star met his health match last week when, while vacationing with Ghost Whisperer costar turned real-life leading lady Jennifer Love Hewitt, he fell prey to the painful medical malady.

While the 38-year-old first felt sick on Tuesday of last week, it was enough to send him and Hewitt back to Los Angeles the following morning, where, according to his rep, the comic immediately checked into a hospital.

"He felt better later in the day and went home, but on Thursday he started hurting again and he went back to the hospital," a source told People, adding that the star is now "on the mend" and under the care of his new better half.

"He's just home and feeling better."

In other words, those kidney stones can consider themselves X'ed.

As a result of the suddenly onset condition, Kennedy was forced to cancel three comedy gigs last week, but ticket holders need not worry—at least one of the shows, at Boston's Wilbur Theatre, has already been rescheduled.

On Friday, the venue announced, "Jamie's performance, originally scheduled for today, has been postponed to June 26."
