If ever a house had to be childproofed, it's Octomom's, and Kaiser Permanente is making sure the single mother's new pad is ready to accommodate a brood of 14.

An official from the Bellflower, Calif., hospital where Nadya Suleman's infant octuplets have been receiving care since their Jan. 26 birth showed up Wednesday morning to inspect the family's recently purchased La Habra home.

"I can't comment about this at this time," the offical told reporters after taking a tour of the four-bedroom, three-bathroom house, which was snatched up for a reported $564,900 by Suleman's father, Ed Doud. He will also be living there, as will Suleman's mother, Angela.

There will be room to breathe, however—the property also boasts a large backyard.

Suleman, who was not present when the Kaiser rep made her rounds, announced on Dr. Phil yesterday that the hospital would start discharging her babies, two at a time, any day now.

After initially refusing help, the 33-year-old media magnet has, with the help of Dr. Phil McGraw and attorney Gloria Allred, secured a promise of round-the-clock child care from the nonprofit Angels in Waiting.

"As far as getting [the house] ready for the safety, there is quite a lot of work that needs to be done," an Angels caregiver told McGraw.

Ron Case, one of Suleman's new neighbors, told E! News he thinks the addition of Octomom to the neighborhood could be exciting.

"I hope things will die down, but as far as having children here, I don't mind it," he said.
