Sure, The Dark Knight got dissed by Oscar. But the Gotham City crew exacted some justice today, dominating the nominations today for the 35th Annual Saturn Awards.

Christopher Nolan's box-office bonanza racked up a whopping 11 nominations from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror, including a nod for Best Action, Adventure or Thriller Film.

Stars Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Aaron Eckhart and Maggie Gyllenhaal each scored in the appropriate acting categories, while Nolan is also up for Best Director.

The Academy Awards for the geek set also embraced Oscar also-ran The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which had nine noms, as well as Iron Man (eight), Valkyrie (seven) and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (six).

While Twilight earned a nomination for Best Fantasy Film, instant superstars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart failed to make the cut for individual nods.

Individual nominees include Bale, Robert Downey Jr., Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Hancock's Will Smith, all up for Best Actor nods; Gwyneth Paltrow and Changeling's Angelina Jolie, who scored Best Actress nods; Shia LaBeouf, whose Indiana escapades earned him a Best Supporting Actor nod against the likes of Ledger and Eckhart; and Bond babes Olga Kurylenko and Judi Dench, who are up against Gyllenhaal and Charlize Theron for Best Supporting Actress.

Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel, meanwhile, earned a solo nomination, up for Best Performance by a Younger Actor.

Meanwhile, Lost owned the TV slate, matching Dark Knight's 11 nominations. The ABC thriller faces off against Fringe, Heroes, Life on Mars, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Supernatural for Best Network Television Series.

And you'd be hard-pressed to find a Lost star who isn't up for an individual honor: Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly are up for Best Actor and Actress, while the supporting categories are chock-full of islanders: Henry Ian Cusack, Michael Emerson, Josh Holloway, Yunjin Kim and Elizabeth Mitchell are all nominated, while Alan Dale, Kevin Durand and Sonya Walger are up for Best Guest-Starring Role.

The complete list of nominees is online at SaturnAwards.org. The awards will be handed out June 25 at a site to be named later.
