Mariska Hargitay has gone from the SVU to the ER.

Weeks after the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star returned to her day job following a brief hospitalization for a collapsed lung, the Emmy winner has again been hospitalized in New York after suffering chest pains.

"Mariska Hargitay went to the hospital this morning after experiencing some discomfort relating to her earlier lung condition," the actress' rep, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, told E! News.

"She is undergoing routine tests and expects to be feeling better soon."

Production on the show is not expected to be affected while Hargitay recovers.

According to reports, the actress was working on the set of her NBC show all day yesterday and waited until filming was complete before being taken to the hospital.

The 45-year-old was briefly sidelined in January after suffering pneumothorax, or a partially collapsed lung, while the show was on its holiday hiatus. Production was temporarily postponed, and Hargitay bowed out of planned appearances at both the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild Awards as a result.

She returned to the set after two weeks, though no cause was ever given for the condition.
