Kenan Thompson Welcomes Chris Brown to SNL?

Is DJ Dynasty Handbag trying to take himself out of the mix? Saturday Night Live cast member Kenan Thompson may have opened a can of worms by telling Us Weekly online that the show would be open to having Chris Brown back on SNL:
"It's not up to me, but I'm sure we would if he had another hit single. We don't care about scandal. We just care about what brings us ratings!"
Really?! We're guessing SNL honcho Lorne Michaels speed-dialed Thompson about this gaffe almost before the actor was done saying it. And although Thompson later added that "you have to learn that you can't put your hands on a female," This sounds like a case of foot in mouth disease that could make the SNL regular a little less so. Stay tuned.
