Can you list the most underrated teen stars of this century, like maybe Leighton Meester, or, uh, Brenda Song?
—F.S.G.

If I say Leighton Meester, will you stop sending me questions about Brenda Song? Please? Do we have a deal? Meantime, forget Miley Cyrus. Rent season four of The Wire and check out Jermaine Crawford, now 16, and the ridiculously hot, cradle-robbery-worthy Tristan Wilds, 19, who's currently being wasted on the revamped 90210.

I am a huge Jonas Brothers fan, and I was wondering if either Joe or Kevin voted? If so, who did they vote for? I'm hoping that if they did vote that they voted for John McCain.
—Bethany

Per their publicist, "We don't get involved with politics in the press." Late last month, Kevin told CNN, "We definitely did vote. We're not in a position to endorse any specific candidate, but we really definitely wanted people to get out there and vote. That was their duty and their right as a citizen."

As an expert in decoding such statements, I'd say that pretty much means they voted for McCain.

What do celebrities do with all their old clothes? Is there a place to buy those or do they all go to charity?
—Judy

They either sell them at consignment shops like Rodeo Drive Resale in Sherman Oaks, or they donate them to charities. Clothes Off Our Backs, for example, recently auctioned off a dress worn by Eva Longoria Parker at a fashion show.

Hey Queen B! When stars come together for a movie, do they remain friends after production is complete, or is it more of a professional thing and they don't really talk to each other after that?
—J.D.W.

Depends on the film. Scarlett Johansson, who has performed in three Woody Allen films, considers the director her friend. During a recent interview, she told me, "We always entertain each other and search each other out, kind of like buddies on the playground—'Where's my friend? Where's my friend?' And it's nice, so nice, to have that."

When movie and TV show characters are shown in pictures in old family photo albums and videos, where do they come from? Are they just staged with young look-alikes or what?
—KVC

Sometimes, but more often they find real photos of the stars as children or young people. See this season of Dexter, where one scene features a photo of Michael C. Hall as a nipper, or Austin Powers in Goldmember, which used classic film footage of Michael Caine for a "flashback" scene.

I'm wondering why articles often refer to Madonna's adopted son as an orphan when his biological father is still alive? Doesn't the term imply both parents are dead?
—Renee

According to the classic definition, an orphan may have dead parents, or, per Wikipedia, simply parents who are absent—like, say, Madonna, who is on tour. Now ask me for the definition of irony.

How did Seal get the scars that are on his face?
—Susan, Texas

Through an auto-immune ailment called discoid lupus, which can affect the skin.

How did Miley Cyrus become a star?
—Suado

She auditioned for a TV show. Disney put her on the TV show. Magic ensued. Speaking of magic: Only two shopping months until my book comes out. Lucky for you, there's pre-order.
