It's Boys for Jeffrey Tambor!

Here's hoping Jeffrey Tambor's twins are better behaved than George and Oscar Bluth.

The Emmy-nominated Arrested Development patriarch and his wife Kasia welcomed a pair of sons, Hugo Bernard and Eli Nicholas, on Oct. 4, People reports.

The newborns join 4 1/2-year-old brother Gabriel Kasper and 2 1/2-year-old sister Eve Julia in their parents' brood.

Jeffrey and Kasia tied the knot in 2001. He also has an adult daughter, Molly, from his first marriage.

Even if the long-gestating Arrested Development movie never happens, Tambor shouldn't have any trouble keeping the formula flowing: The always working character actor appeared this year in The Hangover and the just-released The Invention of Lying and has at least five other films in the pipeline.

Sorry to state the obvious, but Will Arnett is a funny, funny man.

When E! News caught up with him at the Monsters & Aliens junket to corner him about why that darned Arrested Development movie is taking so long, the jokester answered, "I think it has to do with schedules, and Jason Bateman’s been in rehab for the last two years, so when he gets out, then I think we’ll probably start."

Ha-ha. Find out what's really going down with this darned movie…

Ya just gotta love Jeffrey Tambor's excitement over the upcoming Arrested Development movie.

"I can't wait," Tambor tells me. "I want it to happen, and I want to see my friends again, and I want to play my two characters. I'm there as soon as they ask me. I'm so excited."

And so are we, especially since my television dishing diva cohort Kristin Dos Santos broke the exclusive news yesterday that Michael Cera has finally agreed to do the flick.

Now, what about the movie's storylines?

Sources: Michael Cera Joins Arrested Development Movie

Update Wednesday, 9:19 a.m.: Our own Michael Yo just broke this news to Portia de Rossi! Her response? "That's crazy that you just told me that. Thank you." (Such a polite cast!) So what was the holdup with Michael? Says Portia, "I don't know, I honestly don't. I spoke to Jason Bateman and Will Arnett; I think it was just a matter of timing. I don't know." Portia reports that she doesn't have a script yet, but she is on board even though all the contracts still need their T's crossed and I's dotted: "I just verbally said, 'Hey, I'll do it too.'" As for plot twists, Michael wanted to know: Would there be a Jason/Portia hookup in the movie? Says Portia, "Oh, we're not siblings anymore! That's weird. I don't know about that. That's creepy." She says creepy. What say you? Post in the comments!

Oh happy day!

Inside sources close to the negotiations of the upcoming Arrested Development movie tell me that Superbad and Juno star (and before that, hello, George-Michael Bluth!) Michael Cera has finally agreed to do the feature film project.

Cera had been the lone holdout among the show's stars for several weeks. All other Bluths, including Jason Bateman, Portia de Rossi, Will Arnett, Tony Hale, Jessica Walter, Jeffrey Tambor and David Cross, are already game, according to sources.

So when exactly will the movie happen?

Michael Cera Still Not Signed for Arrested Movie

Michael Cera Sony Pictures

"For once and for all, the Arrested Development movie is happening!" Will Arnett tells us today.

But the big question is whether a certain beloved Bluth will be there: Superbad and Juno star Michael Cera.

That's the word from Arnett, Jason Bateman and producer Mitch Hurwitz, who met with reporters to promote their new animated Fox series, Sit Down, Shut Up.

"I hope so," Hurwitz tells me when asked if Cera will do the big-screen version of Arrested, which Hurwitz describes as "Valkyrie meets Hotel for Dogs." "We're just trying to get all the actors on board."

According to inside sources close to the deal, all of the main Arrested cast members have signed on to the movie except Cera, aka George-Michael Bluth.

"I know he's thinking about it," Bateman tells us. "And we're all awaiting some finality to all of that so Mitch can get writing."

So why is Cera holding out? And what's the movie all about?

It's true! An Arrested Development movie will happen.

Reliable inside sources confirm to me that producers Mitch Hurwitz and Ron Howard have signed deals to do an Arrested movie with Imagine and Fox Searchlight.

Sources tell me exclusively that the major motion picture is budgeted at $15 million. (Translation: It will be awesome.)

"Yes, it's a go," an Arrested castmember who asked not to be named tells me. "We're all very excited. And it will happen with or without the holdout."

Wait a minute...The holdout? Yes, I'm also told exclusively by multiple sources that one of the show's original castmembers has not signed on to the movie...
