Melissa Etheridge to Adam Lambert: "Don't Believe Everything They Say"
Melissa Etheridge predicted something like this might happen.
She spoke as if she were reading a crystal ball when we chatted at the American Music Awards before Adam Lambert's controversial sex-charged performance.
We asked Ms. Etheridge what advice she'd give to the out and proud 27-year-old glam rock Idol star. Little did we know that her well-seasoned words were a foreshadowing of things to come later that night...

Adam Lambert: Dating? No. Clubbing? Yes!
Adam Lambert and his boyfriend, Drake LaBry, may have recently called it quits, but that doesn't mean the singer is on the market.
"I'm so busy with all this stuff and with the record that I'm really just focused on the music right now," Lambert told us last night at TV Guide magazine's Hot List Party at the SLS Hotel.
Not that he doesn't enjoy having a good time. Lambert was spotted after the TV Guide bash hanging at Hollywood's Bardot nightclub. In addition to chatting with Samantha Ronson, I'm told he appeared quite cozy with "a blond model-like guy in his thirties."
OK, now we can talk about the music...

Kris Allen: Adam Lambert Doin' Just Fine Post-Breakup
Kris Allen says there's no need to worry about Adam Lambert after his split from boyfriend Drake LaBry.
"He's doing good," the American Idol winner, 24, told us yesterday at the People's Choice Awards nominations announcement. "He's obviously not completely happy about it, but I think it was just something that needed to happen."
As for any competition brewing between Allen and Lambert...
DioGuardi: Ellen DeGeneres Is So Right for Idol
Ellen DeGeneres may do a fine job defending herself against critics who don't think she's qualified to be a judge on American Idol, but that doesn't mean her supporters are going to sit back and let her do all the work.
"She loves the show, she loves music, and she's a star," fellow judge Kara DioGuardi says. "You got to be a star to win the show."
And she continued…
Adam Lambert on Boyfriend: "It's Going Really Well"
Adam Lambert may be spending more time on the road these days than with boyfriend Drake LaBry, but not to worry...they're still going strong, thank you very much.
"It's going really well," says Lambert, 27. "It's just fine. We're dealing with [being apart] just fine."
That, of course, doesn't mean he wouldn't like to spend some more time with the 24-year-old LaBry...

Kris Allen & Adam Lambert Talk "No Boundaries"
Cutting Kara DioGuardi's "No Boundaries" from the American Idol tour was a no-brainer for Kris Allen.
"Taking that out is kind of helping my set a little bit," Allen explained to us this morning as he and Adam Lambert picked up their new Ford vehicles at Galpin Ford just outside of Los Angeles. "It gave it a little bit more energy…It just felt like a better fit to put something else in."
Critics and fans have pretty much trashed "No Boundaries," which DioGuardi cowrote, ever since it debuted as the American Idol victory song during the finale in May. Allen has replaced it with The Killers' "All These Things That I've Done."
"Everyone knows that song," Lambert said. "It's really great."
Our favorite singing bromancers also talked about which Idol alums they'd like to work with...

Adam Lambert & Kris Allen: They Want to Record Together!
For the next three months or so, Adam Lambert and Kris Allen will be spending a lot of time with each other as they crisscross the country on the American Idol tour.
It's no wonder that the two say we shouldn't be surprised if, in the end, they decide to record a song together.
"It could happen," Lambert told me Friday during my exclusive sit-down with him and Allen. "Maybe we'll write a song on the road."
Allen smiled, "We have to figure it out, but yeah, we should do it."
No surprise that the American Idol winner and runner-up have become as tight as any two best friends could be. So just how close are they?

Kris Allen & Adam Lambert Talk Michael Jackson
I just sat down with Kris Allen and Adam Lambert. While we chatted about many things, I could not help but first ask them about Michael Jackson.
In fact, on Monday, Fox will reair this year's Jackson-themed performance night, when Allen sang "Remember the Time," and Lambert belted out "Black or White."
The first album Allen ever owned was Jackson's Dangerous from 1991…
Gay Celebrities: The Big Cover-Up
Adam Lambert isn't the first gay celeb to talk about his sexuality in a splashy magazine cover story.
Before Adam, there was Ellen DeGeneres, Lance Bass and even a heavy metal rocker and a professional football player.
We dug through our archives to give you a gay blast from the newsstand-past photo gallery.

Rob Zombie: Adam Lambert Is No Mick Jagger
Adam Lambert may have a great voice. He may have even performed with KISS during the American Idol finals. Heck, Queen has even said they want the young, guyliner-lovin' singer to front the band.
However, all that praise and good fortune doesn't make Lambert a rock star.
So says metal rocker Rob Zombie.
"I'm sure Adam can f--king sing 10 times better than Mick Jagger, but who gives a s--t," Zombie told me the other day. "He ain't f--king Mick Jagger. You know what I mean? There are probably a million guitar players in the world better than Keith Richards, but they ain't f--king Keith Richards!"
No surprise, but Zombie doesn't exactly tune in to American Idol...
Adam Lambert: Rolling Out of the Closet?
Adam Lambert promises that he's about to address all the lingering questions about him.
"At this point, I think everybody knows everything, but once the Rolling Stone article comes out, people will know everything," the American Idol runner-up told us last night at the Young Hollywood Awards.
Reportedly, Lambert will officially come out of the closet next week in a cover story for the music magazine...
