Lost's Bosses Dish on "Season of Josh Holloway"
Lost is back in less than a week!
And to promote the best little island show since, well, ever (sorry, Gilligan and Ricardo Montalban), the show's big bosses Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse just showed critics episode three of the new fifth season and ponied up scoop!
So what do you need to know? Well, for starters, the time travel-kookiness is off the charts in season five.
But that's OK. They're making it up to us.
How? Well, according to Carlton: "It's the season of Josh." Yes, to counteract the hard-core sci-fi/physics/time-travel-loop-the-loop stuff this year (Daniel Faraday knows all, and boy does he tell all), the writers are making sure that Sawyer (Josh Holloway) and his time-travel-loathing testy redneck temperament are front and center to soften the blow. His shirtless chest will also be featured prominently, but let's focus, shall we?
So what extra Sawyer goodness are we getting this season? Read on for that, a sneak peek at episode two and some tease-y goodies about episode three!
ER: Will Clooney Come Back? (The Saga Continues)
It's been 15 years since George Clooney became a breakout star thanks to NBC's (then) megahit ER. As executive producer John Wells makes final preparations to finally close the doors of County, and other original stars (such as Anthony Edwards in his role of Dr. Mark Greene) do valedictory laps of their own, the question remains: Could Clooney come back?
Wells just updated us on where negotiations stand, and there's one last element that could make it happen...

The Untitled Amy Poehler Show, one of the most highly anticipated new shows of the season, still doesn't have a real title, but it does have scoop! Hee!
Seriously, though, we just heard from Poeher, her costars and producers, and here's what this show is all about...

It doesn't take a rocket scientist or Dwight Schrute to figure out which two NBC comedies must stick around to keep the network alive and kicking: The Office and 30 Rock.
And so today, to the surprse of no one, NBC has made an early announcement to pick up The Office and 30 Rock for the 2009-2010 season.

ABC Delays End of Daisies, Eli and Dirty Sexy Money
Dying to know where the Piemaker and his beloved Charlotte Charles will end up when Pushing Daisies comes to a close?
Join the club! But apparently ABC is in no hurry to give the fans closure.
Sources close to the Alphabet network tell me exclusively that the remaining episodes for Daisies will not air until—wait for it, ‘cause you're gonna have to—this summer.
And that's not all. It's the same case for those two other much-loved but recently canceled ABC series: Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money.
Yes, word is Daisies' final three episodes and Eli and DSM's final four won't air until June at the earliest.
According to insiders, the original plan was for the final three episodes of Daisies to begin airing last Wednesday, but ABC decided to air reruns of Scrubs instead.
And what you really won't want to hear is...
Is Edie Falco Coming Back to 30 Rock?
Edie Falco is coming back to television!
And while her first plans are to shoot a new Showtime series called Nurse Jackie (which airs this summer), the Emmy-winning actress also tells us she could very well end up back on 30 Rock once her schedule clears. After all, both shows happen to shoot in NYC, and a certain vice president of East Coast television and microwave oven programming may be missing her.
"I can't be [on 30 Rock] until [Nurse Jackie] is done, but I would do it again in a heartbeat," Edie tells us, adding that she only has five more episodes of Jackie to shoot.
Yo, Tina Fey, make it happen!
Falco also admits that working with Alec Baldwin and Tina was actually terrifying and she didn't even want the role in the first place...

Patrick Swayze Hospitalized With Pneumonia
Sad announcement just made at the Television Critics Association 2009 Winter Press Tour: "Patrick Swayze checked himself into the hospital this morning for observation after coming down with pneumonia." The pneumonia is said to be a complication of chemotherapy treatments for Swayze's cancer.
Swayze was scheduled to join costar Travis Fimmel and producers in presenting A&E's new drama The Beast to critics.
According to A&E reps, Swayze specifically asked that the show go on and that they pass along a message from him about how "unbelievably proud" he is of the work they've done so far on The Beast.
Earlier this week, Swayze appeared in an interview with Barbara Walters and discussed his battle with pancreatic cancer.
"I'm going through hell," he said.
Kardashians: Are Kim and Reggie Getting Married?
Could Kim Kardashian be getting hitched to New Orleans Saints star Reggie Bush? According to Kim's sister Kourtney, "Let's hope so!" So would Reggie propose to Kim on the show? "It's supposed to be a surprise, right?" Kim herself tells us.
But the big question for season three of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the hit reality show that's part of our E! family, is whether or not Reggie Bush and Khloe's NBA man Rashad McCants will actually appear onscreen this season or stay on the sidelines. The Kardashians just hit the Winter TV Press Tour for TV critics, and the sisters gave up some answers...
