Grey's Anatomy: Five Questions With Kevin McKidd

Grey's Anatomy, Kevin McKidd, Sandra Oh ABC/CRAIG SJODIN

We all know George O'Malley (T.R. Knight) is a goner, which means season six of Grey's Anatomy really starts off on a low note.

What could possibly bring up the spirits of the docs at Seattle Grace hospital and, of course, the audience? Romance! Yes, Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) and Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) are getting even closer this year, though something arises from his past that may throw a wrench in the matter.

McKidd also reveals how George's death will affect everyone in the hospital, especially Owen, who basically helped George to become the hero.

So what are the perks of going to the Television Critics Association? Sitting down with Grey's McKidd and passing all the scoop onto you!

Leaving American Idol has turned Paula Abdul into the belle of the ball! Not only is Nigel Lythgoe trying to talk her into a gig on So You Think You Can Dance, but we just learned at the Television Critics Association press tour that ABC boss Steve McPherson would love to get her a job on Dancing With the Stars.

Flash Forward Shows Flashes of Brilliance

John Cho, Joseph Fiennes, FlashForward ABC/CRAIG SJODIN

Hello again from the press tour, where we were just treated to a screening of the cinematic Flash Forward pilot, which delivers more action and intrigue than most summer blockbusters at the multiplex.

Two things you need to know: (1) In the series, a global event causes everyone (OK, nearly everyone) on earth to lose consciousness and share a glimpse of their future on April 29, 2010. (2) Find a red magic marker and circle Sept. 24, 2009, on your calendar, because that's when this series premieres and you do not want to be left behind on this epic journey, especially if you were one of those saddies who couldn't watch Lost live until you caught up on DVD.

Jim and Pam Are Finally Swapping Vows on The Office…and Soon!

The Office, Jenna Fischer, John Krasinski Byron J. Cohen/NBC

That's right, Dunder Mifflinites. Little Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer) and the love of her life, Jim Halpert (John Krasinski), are officially walking down the aisle after five years of will-they-won't-they goodness.

In the midst of TCA madness, the gracious folks at NBC invited us to tour the set and enjoy a chat with the entire cast and crew of The Office—minus one Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson), but it was still incredible and came jam-packed with, what else, scoop on Jam.

The obvious question on everyone's mind: When exactly will the preggo pair say "I do"? "Pam’s going to walking down the aisle very soon because she is pregnant, but trying to hide that from certain members of her family," Jenna tells us. "They’re getting married very quickly—in the fourth episode."

(Excuse us while we quietly jump for joy in a corner somewhere…)

For the rest of you, who aren't yet in love with this show, you can just go back to your CSI: NY reruns and get the TV you deserve.

We know you're all still recovering from the announcement that Friday Night Lights won't be back for what seems like forever. But we do have some good news related to a favorite FNL castmember: We ran into FNL's Aimee Teegarden (who plays precocious young thing Julie Taylor) at NBC's Television Critics Association party, and while she couldn't tell us much about what's to come in Dillon, Texas, she did spill on some other exciting news.

"I'm going to New Zealand on Saturday to shoot a show called Legend of the Seeker," Teegarden told us exclusively. "It's a crazy-long episode. A lot goes on. My character ruins a lot of things, but she doesn't really mean to."

Who is this mystery character? Keep reading to learn more about Aimee's feisty character and what she does to Richard and Kahlan's relationship:

Anybody else wanna be BFFs with Jennie Garth? We caught up with the supersweet 90210 star at the CBS/CW/Showtime party, and she talked season two, love triangles and baby Sammy, with whom she's shared only a few scenes since the beginning of the show, prompting the star to exclaim, "Kelly's the worst mother ever!"

Garth also confessed that Kelly Taylor would definitely have more to do in season two with Harry and Debbie Wilson (Rob Estes and Lori Loughlin) and her little sis Silver (Jessica Stroup) and that she never expected to be working with Ann Gillespie, who plays Jackie Silver, 10 years after the original series ended.
