Jonathan Coyle is completely blindsided on this week's episode of Total Divas when Eva Marie reveals she's not interested in raising children. So when time comes to have lunch with her folks, the fitness guru is a no-show.
When Eva's parents Barry and Josie ask about their son-in-law, she's forced to spill the beans.
"Jonathan should be at our little lunch, but he's a little mad at me right now," Eve Marie says.
In the above deleted scene, they're quick to come to his defense. "You told him you didn't want to have kids and obviously you knew he wanted to have kids," Barry says. "My God! He's probably out of his head."
But ultimately Eva Marie's parents have their daughter's back—and decades of marriage experience to share.
The WWE Diva takes their words to heart. "I need to talk to Jonathan and just kind of clear the air with him and patch things up."
We'll find out next week if the newlyweds can clear this hurdle...
