If it felt like The Wanted's interview on Chelsea Lately ran long, blame the screaming girls when they took the stage.
Once the screaming (finally) subsided, the boys chatted with Chelsea Handler about everything from Lindsay Lohan to One Direction to being single lads in America. But first, Chelsea asked about the absent Nathan Sykes.
"He's not dead," Chelsea explained after a chorus of "awwws" came from the audience at the mention of Nathan's name. But the boys mentioned that Nathan was doing well, although they hadn't talked to him in a few months. "You guys seem like such close friends," Chelsea joked.
Chelsea also asked about the boys' love lives. "So, you two are on the prowl?" she asked Jay McGuiness and Max George. "Yeah, we prowled a little," Jay responded.
When asked about Lindsay Lohan, Max met Chelsea's jab with one of his own. "So which one of you is penetrating Lindsay Lohan?" asked Chelsea. "That was Nathan, he's not here," joked Max.
And as for that other boy band, One Direction, Max set the record straight on how they all get along. "A couple of them are really sound and the others...are all right," Max said.
On the subject of The Wanted Life, the band's new show which premieres on Sunday at 10/9c, Jay noted that it's hard to watch yourself on TV, but it's not all bad.
"There's a lot of heart...it's stupid to say but there's a lot of love here," Jay admitted. "It is quite embarrassing to see yourself slowly get drunk," he added. "Especially in HD."
