When I say leprechauns what comes to mind first?
Ok. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The cereal. Fine. But what's the second thing that comes to mind?
Yes. Good. Now, what's the third thing to come to mind? Perhaps...this?
No? Well, it should be because Mobile, Alabama was ground zero for a major episode of modern Irish folklore.
The year was 2006. In a quiet Mobile neighborhood someone saw a leprechaun in a tree and convinced everyone else they saw it too. Then, someone else made a "sketch" of the lerechaun. Then the news reported on the situation. The rest is intenet history.
Maybe there was a leprechaun. Maybe there wasn't. One thing, however, is certain. This guy knew their leprechaun was bullsh*t...
But he stuck with it anyway. Why? Because he's Irish. That's my guess.
