Yesterday, the brave women of the U.S. Hockey Team mounted a valiant effort but were unable to stop Canada from robbing us of a gold metal. Allies to the North, my ass.
Everyone knows that we here in the states NEVER overdo our celebrations when it comes to sports. No. We like to keep it classy and reserved. Especially in LA. However, as you'll see in this clip from the Sportsnet Canada show Tim and Sid with Tim Micallef and Sin Seixeiro, Canadians don't roll like that. They like to rub your nose in their dirty, syrup-scented victory.
What follows is an egregious, unnecessary, and decadent celebration that I'm sure we here in the U.S. would never be so crass as to participate in (Raider Nation members and Dodgers fans excluded).
And to add insult to injury they even have the audacity to invoke Joe Esposito's "You're the Best Around." Oh hell-to-the no. Blasphemy. As if sending Bieber our way wasn't bad enough. C'mon.
