You know when you're watching something, let's say it's Dr. Phil, and a breaking news alert interrupts the show? Suddenly half of you is like, "Oh my god what's going on," and the other half is like, "Uh oh, I think that refinery might have finally blown up. I hope no one was in there but I'm also kind of psyched to see footage of a refinery fire. I'm a really horrible person." Overall, however, you're mostly like, "Oh maaaaaaan! Dr. Phil was about to make that guy with an eating disorder feel even worse about himself. Why now, news? WHY NOW?!!!" It's happened to all of us.
Breaking news can happen at any time, even during the news itself. Case in point this video in which a field reporter at the scene of a train derailment is interrupted by a local man with an important message. A message that is absolutely NSFW so be warned.
By the way, while we don't have a problem with using language like that on live TV, we would never EVER say somehting so crass within 100 feet of a sad, busted up swing set. Never.
