Before BBC reporter Simon McCoy stepped out into the newsroom on this fateful day he did three things. 1) He made sure his tie was on straight. 2) He went over the copy for his report not once, not twice, but three times because he's a professional. 3) He grabbed his iPad.
But see, here's the thing. Something went awesomely wrong during step 3.For some reason, Simon's iPad was at least four times its normal thickness, way heavier, and wrapped in plastic. Oh, and also it wasn't an iPad at all either.
Yep. That's right.
The crazy thing is, this isn't the first time this has happened to Simon. For instance, he once did two hours of royal baby coverage holding a box of Kix cereal.
And we'd be remiss if we didn't mention the time Simon accidently replaced his co-anchor with a giant headshot of Omar Epps.
Oh, Simon. I wonder if his ream of paper has Star Wars Angry Birds.
