Summer is quickly drawing to a horrifying and bloody conclusion. Ok so maybe it won't be horrifying or bloody in your world. That's because you don't work in The Soup offices. Also we're being held against our will. #SENDHELP
Anyway, soon we'll be saying goodbye to the trappings of summer. Summertime fruit, summertime weather, and of course the summertime jams we've all heard like 15,000 times at this point. To that end, several Youtubers have decided to send one of those jams out in style. Cosby style.
Apparently, the opening title sequence of The Cosby Show syncs up to perfection with one of this year's summer anthems: Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines. Who would have guessed that Thicke's testosterone-fueled creep-jam would complement the "this couldn't looks more 90's if we tried" intro to the Cosby show? YouTube user Garlic Jackson Comedy apparently. They created the original.
However, for our money, this version from HeroicSuper is the one to watch. Why? Because while old G Jackson was content to stop at merely one, HeroicSuper links the song to almost every Cosby Show opening throughout the show's run. It's like a Cosby-themed time capsule set to Blurred Lines...which actually sounds kind of horrible when you think about it like that, but I promise you it's not. Behold.
Raven Symone FTW.
