Humans like to think that we're the cream of the crop, evolutionarily speaking. After all, we've got opposable thumbs. We've got developed cortexes that allow for the use of language and tools. We've got Netflix. But even though we pretty much have the run of the global roost, lesser species still find opportunities to knock us down a few pegs. Usually by knocking us down.
There's nothing like a cantankerous condor or camel for teaching brief lessons in humility. Except, perhaps, having those lessons put on repeat and then published to the Internet.
