Many people are excited for the premiere of The Royals in March, which is a series based on the crazy lives of a fictional modern-day British monarchy. Elizabeth Hurley stars as the powerful Queen Helena, along with Vincent Regan as her husband King Simon, William Moseley as her son Prince Liam, and Alexandra Park as her daughter Princess Eleanor.

And now for the first time ever, an actual British royal is speaking out about the show!

During Wednesday's taping of The Meredith Vieira Show, Sarah Ferguson (aka Fergie the Duchess of York) sat down with host Meredith Vieira to give her take on what she thinks of The Royals!

"Interestingly enough, they did get in touch with me and asked me to be on it," Sarah revealed.

"Really?" Meredith exclaimed. "Playing yourself? And what did you say?"

"And I think I said, 'I'm running to the hills!'" the Duchess replied.

Whether or not the Duchess' claim is true, we can't help but wonder what the other Royals like Kate Middleton and Prince William have to say about the upcoming series!
