It's a problem #RichKids of Beverly Hills star Brendan Fitzpatrick has dealt with on more than one occasion with longtime girlfriend and costar Morgan Stewart.
But for tomorrow's Valentine's Day, Brendan is prepared to wow his girl with a super special gift.
"I have to go against the grain a little bit and shake things up," he exclusively told E! News. "I don't want to give any hints since she reads E! Online all the time but it's definitely something I know that she's wanted for a long time."
Although the present is top secret, Brendan can share some inside details on what's on his romantic agenda for Friday.
After experiencing a fantastic candle-lit dinner last Valentine's Day (that just so happened to include a surprise run-in with Drake), Brendan is hoping to top it with a few special details.
The night will begin at Brendan's place where the lovebirds will enjoy a glass of the best champagne. A car with pick them up and drop them off for dinner by the beach. And at one point, Brendan will surprise his girlfriend with the special present.
"I haven't really decided when the gift-giving will take place," he said. "I want it to be when she will least expect it."
And even though Brendan is well-prepared for the big night, the successful real estate broker has a few helpful tips for guys looking for the perfect last-minute present.
Whether it's a coupon book of things she likes to do, a romantic experience like a picnic or bike ride or a book documenting your relationship (as if Instagram isn't enough), Brendan believes a guy's gift should be creative.
"All of these show effort," he said. "And that's the most important thing."
