It's time to show some Clippers' spirit!

E!'s upcoming reality series L.A. Clippers Dance Squad documents the lives of seven women who dream of making it onto the basketball court at the Staples Center as a member of the elite Clippers Spirit dance team!

The show will follow them through auditions, rehearsals and performances while they also try to balance work and relationships, so you better believe there will be drama!

Before next month's anticipated premiere of L.A. Clippers Dance Squad, check out these six random facts about the Los Angeles Clippers franchise!

1. It's All About Location: The Los Angeles Clipper franchise was founded in 1970 as the Buffalo Braves. In 1978, the Braves moved from Buffalo to San Diego and changed their name to the San Diego Clippers. They eventually moved to Los Angeles in 1984—and the rest is sweet history.

2. Name Game: The Clippers' name was inspired by the ships that often passed through the San Diego Bay. After they relocated to L.A., they decided to keep the moniker.

3. Hoop Stars: The Clippers most famous basketball players players to date are Lamar OdomBlake Griffin, Chris PaulDeAndre Jordan and J.J. Redick.

4. Basketball Legends: The Clippers have six players in the NBA Hall of Fame: Jamaal Wilkes, Adrian Dantley, Dominique Wilkins, Moses Malone, Bob McAdoo and Bill Walton.

5. The Candy Man: Lamar Odom began his NBA career with the Clippers after he was the fourth overall pick in the 1999 draft. He played with the team until 2003 before moving on to the Miami Heat and then the Los Angeles Lakers. Odom came full circle and returned to the Clippers for his final season in 2012.

6. Fan Frenzy: The Clippers have their fair share of high-profile celebrity fans, including Billy Crystal, Jessica Alba, Ellen Pompeo, Rihanna, Rainn Wilson, Beyoncé, Jay Z and Floyd Mayweather.
