Diane von Furstenberg is having a wonderful week.
Ahead of the premiere of her series House of DVF on Sunday, the legendary fashion designer unveiled her powerful, new collection at New York Fashion Week with the help of an amazing model squad, including Karlie Kloss, Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid. In an exclusive interview, E! News chatted with the style goddess to find out the inspiration behind her fabulous show.
"This show is called Fortuna," Diane says. "It's a celebration of beauty. It's a celebration of nature. It's a celebration of freedom, but it's also a celebration of individuality."
And when it comes to being a true DVF girl, Diane says every woman "needs to have those clothes that she can count on, that will make her feel effortlessly sexy." Watch the clip to hear the awesome advice Diane gives her models before they walk the runway!
E! News also caught up with Gigi Hadid and Lily Aldridge, who were more than thrilled to represent the iconic brand in their DVF runway debut. "I'm really excited," Gigi says. "I don't get nervous around Diane. She's the nicest person."
