We're going to just come right out and say it: this style steal on Mariah Carey's part is a full-on fashion offensive. There's no world in which the "You're Mine" singer didn't see Beyoncé rock this memorable Roberto Cavalli creation way back in February. Everyone with a set of eyes and the Internet saw that shot, and even if Mimi lives "off the grid" her stylist certainly doesn't.
So is this the style version of stepping in your competitor? Because it certainly feels like Mimi is saying, "Me. I am Mariah, and I was here first!" to which we can only assume Queen Be would reply, "Me. I am Beyoncé, and I don't care."
Why else would Mrs. Nick Cannon adjust the neckline on this zebra-striped stunner to show more cleavage than the "XO" crooner? The sheer panels were sexy enough, but the '90s icon had to be even more revealing than the 21st century chart topper.
You don't see Miranda Lambert wearing the same cocktail frock as Carrie Underwood or Justin Timberlake performing in the exact same suit as Jay Z. For that reason, we can't in good faith call Mariah the winner, even if her low neckline is a bit more flattering. What's your take?
