Just when you thought you'd never find out what happens to all the secret documents that get run through the office shredder, Julianne Moore answers the age-old question!

We knew the team at Chanel Couture was clever but this creation is next-level creative. Why waste thousands of dollars on fine fabrics when you can recycle your way to red carpet perfection?

Although we're not so sure this fringe-covered frock can be considered perfect...in any way.

Yes, that icy color is gorgeous on the Maps to the Stars actress, but whatever is going on around the crotch area is incredibly awkward. It's like an extra band of mini-skirt under the sheer dress.

Plus, aside from that "design feature," the rest of the column is fairly basic. That's probably a good thing since it's covered in featherlike, hairy silk strips, but an asymmetrical top or deep neckline would give it a bit more dynamic.

Then again, maybe we're just finding flaws because of the overall fabric fail. Can a dress that looks like shredded paper ever look chic?

If Chanel can't make it happen, then no one can.
