Leave it to Emma Watson to upstage the glamorous likes of Cate Blanchett and Kate Moss at Prince William's Charity Dinner last night in Windsor, England. How could we even give the other glitterati a glance when Emma stole our attention with a deconstructed low chignon, lashes for days, and a vampy red lip?

The English actress just knows how to put a look together. Instead of risking looking too conservative with a regular chignon, she added a few twists and braids on the sides and made it a messy version.

The Noah star's makeup was no different: she let her vampy statement lip shine by keeping her eye makeup simple yet chic with black liner, shimmery grey eye shadow and voluminous lashes.

Try the Look: To copy Emma's deconstructed chignon, make sure you skip washing your hair that day to create the grip and texture you'll need. You will want to add more volume and texture with a colorless dry shampoo that doesn't leave residue, like Paul Mitchell Dry Wash. Spray the dry shampoo from roots to ends and tousle and scrunch it.

Once the dry shampoo has set, create a side part and take two-inch sections from the front and twist them back and secure them with a clip. Then, pull skinny pieces (at least two from each side) from the front (about ½-inch) and loosely braid them, securing with Goody Ouchless Mini Crystal Polyband Elastics. Leave two front braids dangling.

Pull back all your hair except for the two front braids and loosely twist into a messy chignon and secure with hairpins. Then, take the two front braids and wrap them around the chignon and pin. Finish by spraying hair with a strong hold hair spray that won't make hair crispy, like Oribe Superfine Strong Hairspray.

To get Ms. Watson's chic makeup, start by prepping upper eye area with a primer or concealer. Then, cover entire upper eye area with a matte powder ivory eye shadow. Now, apply a shimmery light grey eye shadow like Urban Decay Eye Shadow in S&M to your eyelid and along the lower lash line.

Next, line your upper lash line with a black gel or kohl pencil liner. Then, add two to three coats of your favorite volume-building mascara.

To add extra sparkle to your eyes, line the inner corners with a shimmery white or ivory eye shadow, like Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Single in Sugar.

Now for Emma's vampy statement lip. Start by exfoliating lips with a sugar scrub or your toothbrush. Then, line and fill in lips with a matching lip liner. Next, with a lip brush, apply a shiny deep burgundy lipstick like MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick in Good to be Bad.

We are so happy that Ms. Watson broke the child star curse! Instead of going through a trashy rebellious stage, the former Harry Potter star seems to get more elegant by the day. Um, Lindsay, perhaps you should take notes?
