Leave it to Jennifer Lawrence to make "I'm growing my hair out" look good! At last night's X-Men: Days of Future Past world premiere, JLaw's hair was the definition of modern chic. With an extreme side part, the front was styled in a piecey side-sweep while the back of her hair was slicked back.

So yeah, Jennifer almost tripped again at the event last night, but with hair and makeup looking this good, who cares? Her makeup was perfection—covering her eyelids in a flattering shimmery taupe eye shadow and lining her eyes in a soft black, JLaw's eye makeup was simple yet looked very evening.

We also loved that the Academy Award Winner opted for a glossy cranberry lipstick to go with her rose-flushed cheeks. And how about that flawless skin?

Get the Look: To copy JLaw's perfect skin, start by applying an exfoliating mask that will smooth and brighten your skin, like Nude Skincare Miracle Mask. Then, follow with a hydrating oil-free moisturizer that will reduce excess oil, like Kiehl's Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel-Cream.

Prep skin and camouflage any imperfections like enlarged pores or fine lines with a mattifying primer like Korres Pomegranate Mattifying Primer. Next, apply an oil-free, shine-controlling foundation like MAKE UP FOR EVER Mat Velvet + Matifying Foundation. With either a foundation brush or makeup sponge, apply foundation starting at the center of your face and blend product outward.

Add brightness to your face by using a blush brush to sweep a powder blush in a soft rose like Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Dazzled on the apples of your cheeks. Pull the brush upwards for extra lift. Ensure your makeup lasts and that shine doesn't party crash your skin by applying a lightweight mattifying transparent powder like Orlane Poudre Libre to your T-zone (or your entire face if you're prone to all-over oiliness).

To get Ms. Lawrence's taupe smoky eye, start by covering the entire upper eye area with a matte ivory powder eye shadow. Next, with a flat eye brush, apply a shimmery taupe cream eye shadow like Buxom Stay-There Eye Shadow in Mutt from the upper lash line to above the creases.

Follow by applying soft black gel eyeliner like Jane Iredale Jelly Jar Gel Eyeliner in Black to the upper lash line. When you get to the outer corners, lightly flick the brush upwards for a kitten eye effect.

For the lower lash line, use the soft black gel eyeliner to create a thin line. Smudge. Then, with an eyeliner brush dipped in the taupe eye shadow, go over the liner and blend together for a smoky look. Complete the eye makeup with two to three coats of volume-building mascara.

To complete this look, apply a long-lasting glossy pinkish-red lip color like Bite Beauty Honey Lip Lacquer in Cardinal.

Event thought all the buzz last night was about the Academy Award winner breaking her yearlong Dior streak by wearing a Jason Wu frock, all we could talk about was Ms. Lawrence's flawless hair and makeup. Even if she had taken a tumble, we know that JLaw's makeup and hair wouldn't have fallen flat. Ba-dum-bum!
