Shailene Woodley Is Wearing a Terrible Hawaiian Watercolor Painting

Why do we feel like Shailene Woodley grabbed this fabric off the wall of a beachside taco stand in paradise and crafted it into to a lackluster dress?

The blockbuster beauty did star in The Descendants about life in the Aloha State. Maybe she picked this up during that set stay? We could see it serving as a nice souvenir to remember the trip. Unfortunately, it doesn't serve as such a nice red carpet style.

The shame of this Preen design is that minus the fabric, it's perfectly fashionable. The cap-sleeved cut hugs the Fault In Our Stars actress' fit shoulders perfectly, and the wide waist band highlights her waist. We're even into the asymmetrical shape on the skirt, even if it is a little 1995.

But there is absolutely nothing flattering about this awkward watercolor design all over the dress. Unless you're a beachside home overlooking the Pacific Ocean. In that case, it's a perfect fit.
