Almost Perfect! Miranda Lambert's Kentucky Derby Dress Is Ruined by Her Floppy Hat

Apparently this is what happens when a country girl tries to have a British fashion moment.

We guess we should be thrilled that Miranda Lambert is wearing a modern headpiece and not a classic cowboy hat, but this narrow head piece on the "Automatic" singer looks way too much like a giant little girl's bow...slumped over sideways. A closer look reveals an almost Kate Middleton style, but almost is not close enough. The Duchess wouldn't be caught dead in this fail of a fascinator.

But here's the thing, we love this red hot Randi Rahm look so much that we're willing to forgive whatever that is sitting on Mrs. Blake Shelton's head.

Look at that gorgeous color! Have you seen a more perfectly sophisticated cut? And every southern girl knows that lace is best for a Churchill Downs dress, especially in such a bold hue.

So "almost perfect" is still pretty darn good in our book. Because at the end of the day, the hat can come off but the dress can't!
