We guess the old "if it ain't broke" maxim applies to fashion, but Rita Ora might want to put more than thirteen days between the first and second wearing of this same designer's line.
Did the "R.I.P." singer make some sort of deal with the house of Roberto Cavalli? A dozen free dresses if you wear one every two weeks? Seems like an aggressive marketing strategy, but so far it's working. We couldn't resist calling out these two wild looks for a haute couture competition.
On the left, we have what we're affectionately referring to as the evil white queen look. The "How We Do" crooner feels perfectly dressed to rule over the land of Narnia, though we'd recommend a tad less cleavage for any official royal duties. There's always something gorgeous about a pale color against this beauty's deep skin, but in this case, we're not fans of what the fabric is doing around the ankles. It looks like The Witch got into a battle with The Lion over The Wardrobe.
The style at right pops less, but the red, black and white is rich and fun, as is that ethnic-looking pattern. Slashes still define the hemline, but here they are more even and purposeful, like a flapper from the future. And while we miss the drama of the fur scarf, it's nice to see Rita's delicate neck.
So the second installment becomes our winner. Agree or disagree? And any bets on which Cavalli look we'll see next?
