Is Emma Watson giving us the very first example of selfless red carpet style? It's beyond kind of the Noah star to use her major red carpet appearance to honor those who didn't fare so well in the great flood, but that's officially Daniel Day Lewis level method acting—or should we say method dressing.

Either wa, this Oscar de la Renta gown makes the former fashionista look like Italian royalty mourning the loss of a famous Florentine!

It's not that this vintage cut couture isn't gorgeous in a sort of Marie Antoinette-goes-Goth kind of way. We just prefer the Bling Ring actress in something a bit more youthful, and a bit less black. But if this UK native must reflect the tone of this epic film in her red carpet attire, we sort of wish she'd gone all the way. A black cage veil? Jewels worthy of a Gotti family widow? Deep, maroon red lipstick?

You know...all the stuff a total drama queen would wear to a heavily photographed funeral!
