The stars must have seen photos of themselves at the Golden Globes last week and balked at how much the nude lipstick washed them out in photos.
The statement lip returned with a vengeance—from Sofía Vergara and Claire Danes in glossy berry lips to Michelle Dockery and Elisabeth Moss in classic red. Yes girls, yes!
As for the eye makeup, stars like Jennifer Lawrence, Kaley Cuoco and Sandra Bullock all opted for the darkside—going for metallic grays and blue smokey eyes.
When it came to hairstyles, the tresses ran the full gamut—from Old Hollywood glam like Adams and Vergara to modern textured updos like Bullock and Jennifer Garner.
We also loved the sultry loose waves seen on Julia Roberts and Isla Fisher.
Of course there were the few "what were they thinking?" looks last night like Tina Fey's "I'm paying homage to my great-grandmother" hair and Malin Akerman's frosty makeup disaster. Yikes!
