Getty Images/AP ImagesWhile we watched the starlets coast down the People's Choice Awards red carpet last night, all we could think of was "why is everyone in a nude lip?" It was as if an evil makeup witch put a curse on Hollywood last night, casting out all lip color, ensuring a dreary red carpet.
Thank goodness a lucky few escaped the curse's wrath—Queen Latifah and Kat Dennings rocked berry lipsticks, Drew Barrymore and Jennifer Hudson went for bright mattes, and Jessica Alba and Beth Behrs wore bubblegum pink.
All in all—the nude lip unfortunately was representative of the entire red carpet last night—boring. Come on, ladies! It's award season! We want to see glitz! We want some glam! At least give us a little pop of color!
