Obviously the American Hustle star is beyond her high school years, but you wouldn't know it in this Elie Saab dress. She looks like the perfect student council president/cheerleading captain/hall monitor type, doing her very best nerdy duckling to stylish swan transformation (aka She's All That).
We're not saying we don't like this flashy cocktail frock. The deep grey and blue are gorgeous, and we're fans of the modern pattern throughout the bodice and skirt. We also really appreciate the attention to detail with the navy platform pumps.
We just wish Mad Men's Kiernan Shipka was wearing this dress, not one of our favorite veteran Hollywood actresses. For that reason, we have to give a "make it stop" ruling. What's your take?
