Between the beaming smile and glittery smoky eyes, Olivia Wilde was all sparkles last night at her new movie premiere.  Let's face it—the way the Drinking Buddies star gushes about her love life with Jason Sudeikis she doesn't need much makeup to make her radiant. But, last night her glow got a little help from a sultry smoky eye!

We tend to think heavy eye makeup in the summertime is usually a no-no, but we had to break our own rules when we saw this stunning eye makeup.  The shimmering midnight blue gives the makeup a bad girl appeal without smudging it too much into Avril Lavigne territory.

We also love that Olivia just added just a hint of color on her cheeks and lips to let her creamy complexion and bold eye makeup shine.

Get the Look: After applying primer, use a brightening bb cream to even out skin tone and hide any imperfections like Lumene Vitamin C+ Illuminating Anti-Age BB-cream SPF 20

Next, apply an ivory or flesh colored eye shadow to the entire upper eye area.  Line your upper lash line with a kohl black liner pencil to give your eyes extra definition. Then take a tight tapered eye shadow brush and dip it in a light-reflecting midnight blue eye shadow like NARS Night Flight.

Starting at the lash line, apply the shadow, and work it up towards your creases. (You will create a gradient effect since the majority of the pigment will be at your lash line, getting lighter as it reaches your crease.) Next, apply a silvery light-reflecting eye shadow like NARS Night Life in your creases and in a V-shape with the outer corner of your eyes. Blend to diffuse the hard lines.

Next, use a flat tipped eyeliner brush dipped in the midnight blue eye shadow to line your lower lash line, and then smudge with a Q-tip or a smudger.  Follow with the silvery shadow right below the midnight blue shadow and blend together. Then use a black kohl pencil to line the waterlines of your eyes and apply 2-3 coats of your favorite mascara.

To get Olivia's subtle flushed cheeks, apply Revlon PhotoReady Cream Blush in Coral Reef to the apples of your cheeks. You will want to use your ring finger to pat in a circular formation and blend upwards to your temples for extra lift. Complete this look by applying a pale pink or nude sheer lipstick like Revlon Super Lustrous Shine Lipstick in Pink Cognito.

We can't promise this makeup look will bring the same level of sparkle that we see on Olivia.  After all, her fiancé Jason divulged in the August issue of Elle that he credits his sex life with Wilde with his recent weight loss. So tell your boyfriends and hubbies they better get on it!  A smoky eye can only do so much…
