Can we really say that calling it quits on a two-week romance is an official breakup? If said breakup is with super hottie Henry Cavill, star of Man of Steel, we can understand Kaley Cuoco's level of devastation and grief.  Instead of getting out the Häagen-Dazs and Sex and the City DVD set, the Big Bang Theory star decided to hit the town (apparently without giving her makeup and hair much thought before hitting the red carpet).

We just don't get the makeup… A) All the pale pink totally washes her out B) What's up with the slashes of eyeliner on her lower lash line? Instead of following the curve of her eyes, the eyeliner looks like it was drawn with a ballpoint pen and a ruler. C) Her visible lip liner and pink lip gloss make her lips look porn star-esque. Not cute.

Her hair was equally as disappointing…  Messy sock buns are tough to pull off with fine hair.  You need texture and thickness to make this look red carpet-ready.  The random hair bumps and loose wisps look more like mistakes, making this look more Sex and the City marathon-ready than red carpet-ready.

Beauty Bailout: Breakups are all about new beginnings and Kaley's eye makeup is no different.  She needs to start with a fresh slate and opt for a look that will lift her eyes instead of making them look downturned.

She should start by covering her entire upper eye area with a neutral or ivory eye shadow like the lightest shadow in the Sonia Kashuk Eye Palette.  To give her eyes a lift, she should apply a matte brown (like the brown in the same palette) to her creases and blend.  Next, she should use a highlighter right below her brow bone and on the inner corners of her eyes.

If Kaley had only used the navy blue eyeliner pencil along her upper lash line instead and winged it upwards, it would have completely transformed this look. We would have used Dior DiorShow Liner Waterproof in Navy since it has a fine enough tip to make a precise wing but gives a softer look than a liquid liner. She should always leave her lower lash line bare; otherwise she risks making her eyes look droopy.

We'll need another blank slate for Kaley's lips.  She needs to ditch the dated gloss and liner look and opt for some flattering color. We would have loved to see her in a flirty fun orangey coral like Chantecaille Lipstick in Hibiscus, which would have been flattering with her skin tone and made her green eyes pop.

We wish Kaley would let us give her a post-breakup makeover. We could still have Häagen-Dazs and watch Sex and the City, but we would have to ban the bad makeup and put the bed hair to rest.
