Olivia Munn's LBD Teeters Into Lingerie Territory

The Newsroom star steps out in a frock that looks a little too much like a nightgown

In fairness to Olivia Munn, the slip dress is a tricky look to pull off.

No matter how formal or tailored it is, you always end up looking like you forgot the piece that goes over the undergarment...Sadly, this silky Thakoon dress on the Magic Mike actress is no exception. 

We will give the former Daily Show correspondent kudos for attempting to trick us into considering this a real dress.

That lace band between the skinny straps adds some style to the other simple design, as do the mini side slits. The up-do and statement earrings also make it feel less like something you'd wear to bed.

But at the end of the day, it still looks like a slip. Not that there's anything wrong with that if you look like Olivia Munn...
