Kate Bosworth's Gravel-colored Dress Makes For Excellent Sidewalk Camo

Was the Movie 43 star trying to blend into the concrete in this black and white frock?

We suppose one can't predict exactly where they'll be walking throughout the night, but Kate Bosworth must have known she'd come across a sidewalk when she slipped into this dress?

Maybe this Proenza Schouler frock wasn't quite so gravel-colored in the light of the Big Sur star's bedroom? We'll give her that benefit of the doubt, but we're not sure we even love the shape or style.

Those heavy short sleeves hide her petite shoulders, and the long length in thick teed doesn't feel like pre-summer wear.

So, in the end, maybe it's better off fading into the concrete after all... Sorry Kate!
